Pocket watch in a gold case depicting symbols of the sciences on a rocaille base; white-enameled dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, openwork hands set with diamonds. Signature on the dial: Fr. Gugenmus / A VASOVIE. On the movement: Fr. Gugenmus / A VARSOVIE / No. 150. Dated to the 2nd half of the 18th century. Origin: Warsaw, Poland. Dimensions: height 6.5 cm, width 4.5 cm; weight 93.7 g., A round pocket watch with a white face and black roman-style markings, set in a decorative gold case with a patterned edge and a gold winding crown and T-shaped handle; the watch hands are ornate and metallic, and there is a small darkened area near the center; the background is a smooth light gray.
