Four-column portico form on a cuboid base and counter-base; boxwood inlays on the front of the cornice and base with a rhombus rosette and a tendril on both sturons; gilded bronze bases and capitals. Suspended movement with a silver dial with Roman numerals and two keyholes hanging between the columns. Gilded bronze frame with shells surrounds the clock. Oak construction with rosewood facing and light wood insets. Ca. 1840, Paris, France. Timepiece; height 47 cm, width 21 cm., A wooden clock structure with a rectangular top panel featuring ornate floral inlay in lighter brown tones above a gold-colored decorative round clock face rim, supported by a pair of dark brown cylindrical columns with lighter vertical streaks and gold-colored capitals; the round clock face has a silver-gray central disk with darker hands and a textured pattern, and the overall visible colors include dark brown, light brown, gold, silver-gray, and black.
