Iron key, locksmithing. Key with a tubular club-shaped shaft, with a feather widened at the end. Shaft joint with profiles, oval handle with bulges on the shorter axis. 1st half of the 19th century. Height 12.4 cm, width 4.5 cm, depth 1.2 cm. Maker, provenance: gift., A single metal key is centered against a plain light gray background; the key has an oval-shaped bow with a worn, slightly irregular outline, a short ornate neck with rounded ridges, a long cylindrical shaft that shows subtle scratches and patina, and a rectangular bit with several rectangular cutouts and notches. The visible colors are silver tones on the key and light gray in the background.
