Floral ornaments; shell shape; knotting; scallop shell. Date: 1890/1891. Place: Sheffield, England, Great Britain. Function: vessel. Provenance: scrap — purchase, purchase., A metallic shell-shaped dish with a scalloped rim, displaying ornate raised floral and scrollwork decoration along the edges and interior; the surface shows fine engraved lines, dotted patterns, and textured bands radiating from the center, with areas of smooth polished metal and slight discoloration; overall color is silver with subtle darker gray accents where shadows and detailing appear.
