Powdered sugar bowl, pear-shaped on a circular profiled foot, with a domed openwork cover topped with a bowl. Edge of the foot and the top rim decorated with astargal. Openwork, sugar vessel; dish. Maker: Burbidge, Richard 1847–1917, goldsmith. Date: 1913/1914. Materials/technique: scrap; purchase provenance. Dimensions: height 15 cm, diameter 5.9 cm, weight 152 g., A metallic object with a rounded top and a finial sits against a pale background; the top section has decorative cutout patterns and a smooth band separating it from a cylindrical lower section that shows surface scratches and tarnish. The visible colors are silver, gray, black from the cutouts and tarnish, and a light off-white background.
