Steel hands, openwork hour hand. Movement with plate skeleton, spring drive, worm gear, and Gall chain; spindle escapement. Gilded lower plate with an openwork English-style bun in the form of a wreath filled with acanthus tendrils and an openwork grid, connected by a mascaron mask with an openwork bun foot. Timepiece; height 6.5 cm, width 6 cm, dial diameter 4.5 cm; weight 125 g., The image shows an open round object with two circular halves joined by a hinge, one half revealing a clear circular surface and the other half covered in a textured dark material. The visible colors are dark brown, black, silver, and pale off-white, with small metallic accents and a lighter ring around the clear surface. The textured half has a slightly mottled appearance and a small circular metallic piece near its center, while the clear half is smooth and reflective; the hinge and rim show metallic silver details and a few small decorative studs.
