Pocket watch with striking function, silver in a partially openwork case, richly decorated with engraved ornament covering the entire surface of acanthus twig and flowers, among which birds and two masks. In the centre a circular reserve made of acanthus twig, volutes and fish scales, inside a bell. Glazed lid enclosed by an openwork frame decorated with a floral twig and a broken ribbon. Mechanism between two circular plates supported by columns, with a verge escapement, a worm with a chain, and a balance drum. Gilded, openwork crown with an engraved acanthus twig, combined with an openwork foot and a woman's mask. White-enameled dial edged with a gilded, knurled ribbon, hour markers in Arabic numerals, minutes marked with vertical lines; steel hands. 2nd quarter of the 18th century, London, England; timepiece. Dimensions: height 8 cm, width 5.5 cm, dial diameter 4.5 cm., A round metallic object with an ornate filigree surface showing a complex pattern of scrolls and floral motifs in silver and dark gray tones, topped by a silver handle and stem; the central area features concentric circular designs and a small raised circular element, while the outer rim and surrounding areas display elaborate piercedwork and repeating decorative bands.
