Cigarette case, scrap metal, Art Nouveau style, decorated with bats. Rectangular cigarette case with rounded corners and a decoration on the lid in the shape of a flying bat. On the reverse, an engraved tied Cyrillic monogram WAP and a facsimile of donors' signatures and the date 29 June 1913. Early 20th century, Russia. Smoking accessory. Height 7.5 cm, width 10.1 cm, weight 160 g., A rectangular metallic case with rounded corners lies on a pale surface; the case has a slightly raised rim and a small rounded clasp on one long edge. The metal shows a worn, scratched texture with areas of darker tarnish and lighter highlights, appearing primarily silver and gray. On the top surface there are decorative engraved flourishes and flowing script-like incisions forming curved lines and loops; the engraving contrasts as darker grooves against the metal. The overall scene includes a few subtle shadows beneath the case and a clean, neutral background in shades of off-white and very light gray.
