Single-candle candlestick by Hieronymus Holl II 1660–1732, goldsmith. On an octagonal foot with alternating straight sections, in the form of a half-cylinder with pincer and wavy decoration. The main surface is circular, slightly concave, from which the lower part of the shaft extends, terminating in an octagonal, flattened node. Above, the shaft is an octagonal baluster widening upwards; the sides are alternately smooth and engraved with acanthus leaves. Cylindrical profiled sleeve, expanded at upper and lower parts. Dated 1721–1730, made in Gdansk, Royal Prussia, Poland. Function: lighting.
