Bowl, Jean-Joseph X goldsmith, scrap - purchase, tableware element; bowl with engraved inscription on the side FRANCOIS PETIT, 1735 - 1737; Orleans, France; vessel; height 3.5 cm, width 10.8 cm, depth 8.5 cm., A round metal object with a shallow bowl and a short handle, shown from above, exhibiting a silvery-gray surface with polished and slightly tarnished areas; the rim features raised decorative motifs resembling small clustered beads and leaf-like shapes arranged around the circumference, and there is a dotted beaded ring encircling the central flat interior; the handle extends from one side with parallel ridged bands and shows similar silvery-gray tones with some darker spots.
