Key, Roman Szewczykowski 1849–1901 — 19th century. Locksmithing key with a full shaft ending in a flattened ball, featuring a quill with cutouts on the lower edge for a ratchet lock. Base of the shaft has a profiled bulge; handle is heart-shaped topped with a p-rectangle with a hemispherical upper edge. Dimensions: height 14.1 cm, width 4 cm, depth 1.5 cm., A single ornate metal key is centered against a plain light gray background, showing a decorative heart-shaped bow with symmetrical cutouts and a slightly worn, mottled silver-gray surface, a long cylindrical shaft with a rounded tip and a small decorative collar near the top, and a rectangular bit with three notches; overall colors visible include shades of silver-gray and light gray.
