Pectoral watch in an oval case, frame with a circular glazed cut-out, beneath which a dial with a silver ring with hour numerals. Frame decorated with an engraved tendril. Underside open-work, with a motif of a winged bust passing at the bottom into a tendril; around it a tendril motif. Openwork sides of the case with a tendril motif. Mechanism with a striking device, signed I. STOSCH. 17th century; timepiece; height 5.3 cm, width 3.5 cm., A small ornate oval object with detailed openwork and engraved patterns, showing a ringed loop at the top and a turned finial at the bottom; the object appears metallic with visible gold and brass tones, a few darker areas of tarnish, and a section that looks silvery; the surface includes floral and scroll motifs and layered bands around the middle, set against a plain pale background that is off-white to light gray.
