Watch in a double case; outer case with a framed dial and a repoussé depiction of the Crucifixion with Mary and St. John on the back, surrounded by a border of eight C-shaped sections and additional ornamental decoration. Smooth silver inner case. Silver dial with Roman numerals for hours separated by gold dots and Arabic minute numerals. The reserve bears the signature of the watchmaker Zeidlmayr. Inside, the movement cover has a cutout revealing a bun. The movement is marked: Breslau / Joseph Zeidlmayr. Inside the case: a negative MS mark, a negative mark and a possibly illegible goldsmith’s mark rosette?, and two numbers—markings likely made by repair watchmakers. 1st half of the 18th century; Wroclaw, Silesia.
