Table clock, tiled, hexagonal, of gilded bronze on six volute legs, glazed side walls; silver-plated ring-shaped dial with black Roman numerals for hours and Arabic minutes, with two winding holes; center engraved Regency-Rococo cartouche signed Gugenmos/Varssavie; hinged flap closing the mechanism; front plate of the mechanism with a modest bun and a hammer with an engraved bronze head. Signature: Johann / Michael / Gugenmus / A Varsovie. Mechanism with a strike repeater and a handle on the side wall under the upper edge. 2nd half of the 18th century, Warsaw, Poland. Timepiece. Height 8.5 cm; width 13.5 cm; depth 13.5 cm., A hexagonal brass and metal object with a circular dial on top sits on a reflective surface; the top dial is silver-toned with darker metal hands and decorative cutouts, and the hexagonal body shows brass panels with several oval glazed openings revealing internal components. The piece rests on a short ornate base with a group of scrolling metal feet in a darker, aged metal finish, and a shallow rounded bowl-like element is visible beneath the body. The visible colors include brass yellow, silver, dark gray, and hints of darker brownish metal, set against a light gray background.
