Oval tray by Jacob Haase 1704–1762, goldsmith active from 1730; died 1762; widow active to 1774. Smooth oval tray with a raised collar bordered with pearling, supported by four acanthus legs feet not original, soldered on in the 19th century. Scrap — purchase; purchase provenance. Ornament: pearling and acanthus leaves. Dated 1750, Gdansk, Royal Prussia, Poland. Vessel. Height 3.7 cm; width 35 cm; depth 27.2 cm; weight 1035 g., A large oval metal tray with a smooth reflective surface and a raised rim decorated with a beaded edge rests on a flat surface, showing a few small ornamental feet beneath the rim; visible colors include silver tones on the tray and a muted gray background.
