Cross from the binding of a liturgical book or a processional, Romanesque, beginning of the 13th century, possibly from Limoges, France. Enamelled originally now without traces of enamel. Relief image of Christ with the inscription XPS/IHS; only the feet of the Crucified figure remain. Described as either a plaque from a book binding or a processional cross the latter likely. Possibly originated from Kacice, connected with Cistercians from Mogila. Cross, height 21 cm, width 13.5 cm., An aged metal cross-shaped plaque with a central figure in low relief; the figure's head, torso, and legs are visible, with the feet positioned together at the bottom. The plaque shows a ringed circular motif around the figure's head and several circular raised decorations across the arms and body area. There are small round holes near the edges and along the vertical axis. The surface exhibits a weathered, mottled patina with predominant green and brown tones, with hints of darker reddish-brown on the figure and some lighter greenish highlights on raised areas; the background behind the plaque is a uniform muted gray.
