Jewellery die, Approximately hexagonal die with a relief rectangular reserve enclosed at the ends by two leaves. At the top and bottom of the reserve are floral and plant decorations and scrolls. Probably a jeweller's die for making semi-finished products. 2nd half of the 19th century, Germany. Die; height 3 cm, width 6 cm, depth 3 cm., A roughly rectangular dark gray stone with uneven, chipped edges sits against a light gray background, showing a decorative silver-colored metal applique on its top face that features ornate scrollwork, floral motifs, and curved leaf-like forms; the stone surface displays textured gray and brown areas with lighter gray worn patches, while the metal decoration has a polished silvery sheen with small shadowed recesses.
