Jewellery die, Approximately hexagonal die with a relief rectangular reserve enclosed at the ends by two leaves. At the top and bottom of the reserve are floral and plant decorations and scrolls. Probably a jeweller's die for making semi-finished products, 2nd half of the 19th century, Germany. Die; height 3 cm, width 6 cm, depth 3 cm., A roughly rectangular metallic object with faceted sides sits on a smooth surface, featuring an ornate raised decorative element on its top with carved scrollwork and a central polished strip; the object shows a mix of matte and slightly reflective textures with visible wear and rough edges, and the visible colors are shades of gray, silver, and a bit of muted brown on one lower edge, set against a pale lavender-gray background.
