Set of weights, Seven weights in the form of bowls—truncated cones—and an eighth, largest piece serving as a container for the others, with a hinged lid closed by a hasp and a movable handle mounted in pinnacles shaped like simplified vases. On the lid: 16 MARK and a Prussian eagle; hallmark BERLIN; another mark engraved 160; 152 engraved on the side weight 1865.57 g. 18th century, Germany. Weight; height 17.5 cm, width 10.2 cm, depth 14.3 cm., A group of metal vessels arranged on a reflective surface with a plain light gray background, including a central ornate vessel with a decorative handle and two small finials, flanked by several simpler cup-shaped vessels of varying sizes and shapes. The objects show a metallic gold color with areas of darker patina and small spots of greenish corrosion on one smaller piece, and faint reflections of the items appear on the surface beneath them.
