Lock, Baroque, 17th century. Four-bolt door lock with key key missing. Metalwork; height 33 cm, width 22 cm, depth 12.8 cm. A lock of fine locksmithing workmanship from the beginning of the century, with precise, professional finishing on both the lock plate and the brass covering of the mechanism. The key missing and its rich register were meticulously crafted, showing masterful skill. Description: A four-bolt latch lock on a rectangular plate with a trefoil rear section. Cover engraved with a twig motif; side bulges show profiled male busts with mustaches and an en face mask in the central bulge, with a hole for the register dome. On the reverse, the plate is bent at a right angle for mounting on the door side. The mechanism is partially covered by an openwork cover engraved with a twig motif featuring a bird and a pomegranate.
