Souvenir spoon, Paderewski, Ignacy Jan 1860–1941, testament provenance, Japanese dragon motif. Silver souvenir spoon with a teardrop-shaped scoop decorated with an engraved stylized peony flower; Japanese inscription on the reverse, below it the Latin alphabet NAGASAKI. Narrow half-cylinder handle topped with a half-plastic Japanese dragon with three claws. Late 19th century, Asia, Far East. Cutlery, varia. Length 15 cm, width 3 cm, weight 15 g., A metallic spoon displayed against a muted gray background, with a shallow oval bowl etched with a floral, scalloped pattern and scalloped rim, a slender stem leading to an ornate handle carved with a textured, twisting dragon-like motif and raised decorative relief; visible colors include silver tones of the spoon and shades of gray in the background.
