Decorative spoon with teardrop-shaped scoop and angular handle, half decorated with a geometric ornament of colored cellular enamel, topped with a bowl. Dated 1886–1894. Moscow, Russia. Cutlery; height 12.5 cm; weight 20 g., A single spoon lies horizontally against a gray background, with a metal bowl on the left and a decorative handle on the right; the bowl is a dull gold tone with a slightly worn surface and an oval shape, and the handle is a warmer gold metal interrupted by a patterned section featuring a group of enamel inlays in blue, white, red, and turquoise set within dark outlines, ending in a flared terminal with similar blue enamel accents.
