Tea spoon by Fedor Klimov Buszkowskij fl. 1795–1834, goldsmith. Decorative gilded spoon with an ovoid scoop with a pointed tip; reverse decorated with a niello ornament of fish scales and rocailles. Flat handle widening at the end, slightly bent and rounded, with niello decoration on both sides with floral motifs. Incised coats of arms. Ornament: flowers, fish scale. Date: 1815. Place of origin: Veliky Ustyug, Russia. Material/function: cutlery tea, teaspoon. Dimensions: length 14 cm, width 2.6 cm, weight 15 g., A single tablespoon with a rounded bowl and a tapered handle lies flat against a plain background; the spoon has a metallic sheen in gold and brass tones with darker grayish areas in the recessed decorative elements, and the handle features a floral and leaf pattern in contrasting darker gray set into the gold surface, ending in a rounded tip with a circular recessed area; the background is a uniform medium gray.
