Four-sided platter by Bradbury, Thomas & Sons Sheffield; goldsmiths; fl. ca. 1769–1943. Four-sided platter with slightly concave, raised sides; upturned, irregularly cut rim, decorated with a band of godron ornament. Engraved on the side with a rooster standing on a crown. Dated 1903/1904, London, England, Great Britain. Dish. Height 3.9 cm; width 25 cm; depth 20.8 cm; weight 684 g., A rectangular metallic lid with rounded, scalloped corners and an indented central area, featuring a raised circular opening at the center and a decorative twisted rope-like border framing the inner panel; the surface shows subtle scratches and faint tarnish spots. The visible colors are silver, light gray, and darker gray tones in the worn areas.
