Hip flask, Unite, George & Sons Birmingham; goldsmith's firm; fl. 1825–1928 maker; so-called cuboid hip flask with rounded corners; smooth, slightly curved; spout in the form of a narrow neck with an applied spherical hinged stopper; bottle narrowed in the lower part from the middle; on this part a slide-in container — a cup masking the narrowing is placed; the interior of the cup and the spout are gilded; 1907/1908; England, Birmingham, Great Britain; vessel; height 15.5 cm, width 7.6 cm, depth 2.7 cm; weight 240 g., A smooth metallic object with a polished silver surface and rounded edges is shown against a light gray background, featuring an open circular cap revealing an inner cavity with a brown interior, a short cylindrical neck with a slightly tarnished brass-colored rim, and a hinge connecting the cap to the body; the surface shows subtle scratches and small dark blemishes, and there are a few small raised marks on the upper area near the neck.
