Sugar bowl by Hutton & Sons Ltd goldsmith and silversmith firm; active c. 1800–1930. Silver sugar bowl, oval with two ribbon handles and a clasp vertically in the lower section. Decorated above with a band of stylised acanthus twig; upper edge decorated with a godron half-cylinder. Features godron ornaments and a plant/acanthus twig motif. Dated 1895/1896, London, England. Vessel: height 11 cm, width 17.3 cm, depth 10.5 cm, weight 231 g., A metallic vessel with a reflective silver surface, featuring two curved handles that rise above its rim, sits against a light gray background. The vessel has a decorative band near the top with embossed floral and circular motifs, a beaded rim, and vertical fluted panels along its lower half. The handles have smooth, rounded contours and the metal shows subtle highlights and shadows that emphasize its shape and texture. The overall colors visible are silver and shades of gray.
