Tray on legs, goldsmith/silversmith maker: Mappin & Webb Ltd. Circular tray supported on three hoof-shaped legs, with a slightly raised, multi-partite profiled and ribbed collar with serrated edges. Ribbed surface; two coats of arms engraved in the mirror beneath a noble crown. Inscription in italics on the bottom center: 29.9.1906 /von HvG. Date: 1906/1907. Material: presumably silver table accessory. Dimensions: height 2.4 cm, diameter 21.2 cm, weight 350 g. Location made: Sheffield, England., A shallow decorative metal tray with a scalloped, ornate rim and a slightly raised center, shown from above; the tray has a smooth reflective surface with subtle scratches and a faint engraved emblem near the center; the rim has molded curves and a few raised sections and stands on small feet that are partly visible; the visible colors are silver tones, gray, and off-white from reflections.
