Two-armed candelabrum on an oval foot bordered with pearling and decorated with a knobbed rosette. Conical, fluted stem topped with a vase-shaped socket containing a setting with two S-shaped arms terminating in saucers and vase-shaped sockets with spouts; between the arms is a vase topped with a ball. Sleeves decorated halfway with vertical flutes, smooth above. Fluted, pearling and rosette ornament. Dated 1787–1788. London, England. Function: lighting.
