Buliera kettle for boiling water, maker: Benjamin Gignac fl. 1745–1774, goldsmith. Rococo rocaille style with Georgian/George II influences. Spherical kettle with a flat bow mounted on volutes; side spout; centrally arched cover topped with a pine cone. Decorated overall with repoussé rococo ornament, plant and floral motifs; two engraved coats of arms—one four-field in an oval under a baronial crown, the other in an illegible shield. Missing base with a heater. Dated 1753/1754, London, England, Great Britain. Vessel. Height 22 cm, width 24 cm, depth 19 cm, weight 848 g., A silver teapot with a rounded body and a curved spout sits against a pale gray background, featuring ornate embossed floral and scrollwork patterns along its upper surface and around the spout area; a domed lid topped with a textured finial shaped like a pinecone fits the top, and a thin, decorative handle arches above the pot with hinge attachments at each side. The visible colors are silver and shades of gray.
