Two-candle candlestick by William Leuchars fl. 1876–1888 and Leuchars & Son London; goldsmith's firm, fl. ca. 1845–1902. Two-branched candlestick on a circular, domed foot. The shaft rests on a ball no finial, enclosed at three-quarters of its height in a plate-like ring, from which extend movable arms made of S-shaped twisted wires, split at the ends, terminating in cylindrical sockets for candles. The foot is engraved with the Pilawa coat of arms with the motto beneath a nine-baton count's crown. Materials/technique: scrap metal. Date: 1881/1882.
