Two-candle candlestick. Maker: William Leuchars fl. 1876–1888; firm: Leuchars & Son London; goldsmiths; fl. ca. 1845–1902. Materials/technique: silver implied, lighting object. Description: two-branched candlestick on a circular domed foot; shaft rests on a ball no finial, enclosed at three-quarters of its height in a plate-like ring from which extend movable arms made of S-shaped twisted wires, split at the ends, terminating in cylindrical candle sockets. Foot engraved with the Pilawa coat of arms and motto beneath a nine-baton count’s crown; also bears Potocki coat of arms, rank crowns and mottos heraldry. Date: 1881–1882.
