Upper edge bordered by a band of godrons with a wide collar above; hinged, centrally arched lid topped with a handle. Decorated overall with neo-Rococo relief motifs and acanthus leaves; oval blind reserve on the belly with acanthus rim. Dated 1909/1910. England, Chester. Vessel.
