Egg-shaped silver teapot on an oval foot, decorated with two bands of diagonal clasp, with a high upper edge, hinged lid topped with a handle decorated with a wooden rosette, prominent spout, non-original wooden handle set in silver sockets. Made 1896–1897, Sheffield, England. Tea vessel; dish. Height 13.5 cm, width 22.8 cm, depth 13.8 cm, weight 666 g., A rounded metal teapot with a reflective silver surface and an open hinged lid sits against a pale gray background, showing a dark interior; the body features raised decorative ridges around the top and base and a short spout extending from one side; a curved black handle with a slight decorative curl at the top is attached opposite the spout.
