Tea vessel/teapot on an oval foot, egg-shaped, decorated with two bands of diagonal clasp, with a high upper edge, hinged lid topped with a handle decorated with a wooden rosette, prominent spout, non-original wooden handle set in sockets; made in silver, 1896/1897, Sheffield, England. Dish. Height 13.5 cm, width 22.8 cm, depth 13.8 cm, weight 666 g., A metallic teapot with a rounded, ribbed body and an open hinged lid sits on a reflective surface, showing a shiny silver finish with highlights and subtle surface imperfections; it has a long, curved spout on one side and a large, ornate handle on the other that is dark black in color and features a curved decorative top, while the lid has a small decorative knob that is also silver and dark-toned, and the background is a smooth gradient of light gray.
