Coffee pot by John Septimus Beresford London; goldsmith; active 1880–1889. Pear-shaped jug, spirally clacked in the lower part and smooth above, decorated with a half-cylinder under the upper flared rim. Short spout, wooden handle mounted in sleeves not original, hinged domed lid, spirally knotted and topped with a ball. Dated 1888/1889. Great Britain — England, London. Vessel. Height 13 cm; width 12 cm; depth 6.8 cm; weight 179 g., A silver pitcher with decorative ridges and floral-like embossed patterns sits against a light gray background, its hinged lid open to reveal a textured interior; the spout is short and slightly flared, and a curved wooden handle in warm brown tones is attached to the pitcher with metal fittings.
