Cylindrical toilet box decorated on the mantle with a relief plant braid forming four reserves containing winged angel heads in clouds; raised, flattened cover decorated with four putti heads. Depictions after a painting by Joshua Reynolds Angel's Heads, 1786. Material/technique: scrap. Date: 1898–1899. Place: London, England, Great Britain. Function: toilet accessory. Dimensions: height 9.2 cm; diameter 7.5 cm; weight 147 g., A round metallic dish with a reflective, worn surface showing scuffs and scratches, positioned against a light gray background; the dish displays areas of darker and lighter silver tones and subtle reflections creating patches of gray and muted white, and there is a small rectangular lighter patch near the center.
