Rococo single-candle candlestick on a raised domed foot with a hexagonal rim, decorated with flower heads at the corners, passing into a baluster shaft and terminating in a vase-shaped socket with a disc-shaped drip pan. Decorated with rococo motifs in the George II style—rocailles, plant tendrils, flowers, cartouches, shells and acanthus leaves; the entire decoration is slightly spirally twisted. Materials/technique: scrap silver. Function: lighting. Height 29 cm; diameter 16.9 cm; weight 717 g.
