Silver scrap construction, rococo on a raised, domed foot with a hexagonal rim decorated with flower heads at the corners, passing into a baluster shaft, terminating in a vase-shaped socket with a disc-shaped drip pan. Decorated with rococo motifs in the George II manner—rocailles, plant tendrils, flowers, cartouches, shells and acanthus leaves; the entire decoration is slightly spirally twisted. Function: lighting. Height 29 cm; diameter 16.9 cm; weight 717 g., A tall ornate candlestick made of a reflective silvery material stands against a smooth gray background, with a flared scalloped top, an elaborately carved central shaft featuring floral and leaf motifs, and a wide decorative base adorned with raised flowers, scrollwork, and curved panels; the visible colors are silver and shades of gray.
