Two-eared vase, Hutton & Sons Ltd goldsmith and silversmith firm; fl. 1800–1930 maker, scrap - purchase, purchase provenance; vase on a circular stepped-profile foot and short stem, smooth cylindrical body with a slightly upturned upper edge, two profiled volute-shaped handles on the sides; 1926/1927; Great Britain, Birmingham, England; vessel; height 15 cm, width 21 cm, depth 13.5 cm, weight 540 g, A silver metal cup with a rounded body and a footed base sits against a light gray background; the cup has a smooth interior visible from above and two curved handles attached on opposite sides, each handle featuring a subtle decorative curve and a small pointed finial where it meets the body; the metal surface shows gentle reflections and a few faint scratches, and the overall colors visible are silver, gray, and the pale gray of the background.
