Chalice-shaped vase, Woodward, Horace & Co Ltd Birmingham, London; fl. ca. 1851–1919 maker, scrap - purchase, flowers vessel, pearling ornament. Vase supported on a circular foot, transitioning into a short stem terminating in a ring, with a goblet in the form of a slender flower calyx; tall, conical, quarter-part at the top, edged with pearling. 1899/1900. Great Britain, England, London. Vessel. Height 12.5 cm; width 5.5 cm; depth 5.5 cm; weight 38 g., A tall, slender metal vase with a flared, scalloped rim sits on a rounded stem and bell-shaped base, all rendered in a reflective silver color; the surface shows a few areas of tarnish and small scratches, and the rim has a subtle beaded edge.
