Chalice-shaped vase, maker: Woodward, Horace & Co Ltd Birmingham, London; fl. ca 1851–1919; corporate slogans / goldsmith's firm; purchase provenance; scrap - purchase. Flowers vessel, pearling ornament. Vase supported on a circular foot transitioning into a short stem terminating in a ring, with a goblet in the form of a slender flower calyx; tall, conical, quarter-part at the top edged with pearling. Date: 1899/1900. Place: Great Britain — England, London. Vessel. Height 12.5 cm; width 5.5 cm; depth 5.5 cm; weight 38 g., A tall slender metal vessel with a flared, scalloped rim and a narrow elongated stem widening into a rounded knop and a domed base; the surface is reflective and shows areas of slight tarnish and small scratches; visible colors include silver tones on the metal and subtle gray variations in the background.
