Platter lampshade, Scott, Digby & Smith, Benjamin fl. 1802–1807 goldsmith; silver hemispherical lampshade with a non-original handle, smooth with a ribbon profiled edge. On the side, a relief plaque with the Czartoryski coat of arms on a paludament, under a princely mitre, with labres and the motto Be that as it may. Handle is contemporary. 1803–1804, London, England; vessel; height 8.5 cm, diameter 15.2 cm, weight approx. 230 g., A silver dome-shaped object with a rounded finial on top, showing a decorative raised emblem at the front featuring sculpted figures and ornate detailing; the surface is metallic silver with subtle scratches and tarnish, and the finial is a slightly darker gray with textured grooves.
