Coffee pot by Harris, CS & Sons London, goldsmiths' firm, active 1817–1933 and Charles Stuart Harris maker, fl. 1852–1897. Scrapped/purchased, Pear-shaped, ribbed silver coffee vessel with godron ornaments; belly decorated with a band of narrow half-cylinders and grooves. Supported on four profiled, ball-shaped legs. High side spout-like handle; contemporary wooden handle on axis set in silver sockets. Upper edge edged with godron band; hinged lid domed in center, topped with a bowling-pin finial. Dated 1895–1896. Great Britain London, England. Height 21.2 cm; width 18.5 cm; depth 10 cm; weight 640 g., A shiny metal teapot with a reflective silver surface and a black handle, featuring a hinged lid that is open and a curved spout, sitting on small rounded feet against a gray gradient background; the teapot shows smooth and ribbed decorative bands and slight surface scratches, and the lid has a small black knob with metallic fittings.
