Visible materials include compacted dirt, small rocks, and broken organic or mineral fragments scattered across the mound. Toward one side there is a partially exposed curved metallic object with a scalloped edge and raised rivet-like bumps, embedded in the debris. The scene is presented in monochrome tones of black, white, and various shades of gray.
