Date: 1853–1855., A sculpted bust of a person rendered in gray tones wears a draped hood and mantle in golden yellow with darker ochre shading; the face has detailed features with expressive carved eyes and wavy hair peeking from beneath the hood. The bust rests on a rounded base edged in gold with a small red and white shield-like ornament at the front. The background is an off-white, parchment-like color.
