In the foreground there are thatched-roof cottages with dark straw textures and a pale chimney, a narrow dirt path, and a lone slender tree near the water's edge. The river appears shallow in places with visible mudflats and reflective patches, and the bridge is supported by a series of dark wooden piers. The sky is pale and empty above the town, and overall colors visible are shades of brown, beige, black, and grey.
