Several figures wear heavy coats and hats and one sits on a horse while others walk beside the sled. A sled in the center carries a large animal, and a person walks near the sled pulling or guiding it. There are a few dogs on the ground near the people. Two oxen or cows are yoked together at the right and appear to be pulling part of the load. The sky is filled with sweeping cloud formations, and the ground appears snowy or frosty. Visible tones are shades of gray, black, and off-white.
