In front of him and lower in the composition is a woman kneeling with long hair and a draped dress, her eyes closed and one hand raised slightly. To the left of her an older bearded man leans toward the kneeling woman, his hair and beard appearing white and his cloak dark. Behind them stands a veiled woman in a darker garment, looking toward the central male figure. In the distant left background a shadowed figure is partially visible near the wall. The visible colors are shades of brown, beige, and off-white.
