Letter to Maria Mickiewiczówna by Tadeusz Makowski 1882–1932; manuscript letter, 2 leaves all pages written, filigree; addressee Maria Mickiewicz 1868–1952; dated 7 August 1929, place: Tumiac-en-Arzon; height 17.3 cm, width 10.9 cm., A vertically oriented sheet with an off-white to beige background showing a few areas of light discoloration and a horizontal fold across the middle; the upper portion contains a few loose, flowing strokes of darker brown ink forming cursive marks, and the lower portion features a simple sketch of an artist's oval palette and a few paintbrushes drawn in darker brown ink, with the palette sitting near the bottom center and some curved decorative flourishes extending from it, plus a small round stamp mark near the lower left edge in darker ink.
