Letter to Maria Mickiewiczówna from Tadeusz Makowski 1882–1932; addressee: Maria Mickiewicz 1868–1952. One-page manuscript letter, written on both sides, dated 22 July 1918, Espaly-Saint-Marcel. Height 20.9 cm; width 13.5 cm., A vertical sheet of cream-colored paper with handwritten dark gray ink cursive across the upper two-thirds, the writing varying in pressure and thickness and showing a few crossed-out marks; the lower third of the page is mostly blank with faint reverse impressions of writing visible beneath the surface; the paper shows subtle creases and a horizontal fold line near the center, and the edges display slight wear with a narrow margin of lighter discoloration around the perimeter.
